As a Planning Administrator, you will support the Planning Manager, being responsible for ensuring that all the admin duties are complete in a timely manner and work with both internal and external stakeholders to maintain an efficient and effective planning function across the Company.
Main responsibilities include:
- Supporting the Planning Manager through communicating across departments to track orders and ensure customers are updated appropriately and in a proactive manner to ensure high levels of customer service is met
- Manage expectations and understand systems to answer customer queries accurately, knowing when to escalate any concerns
- Ensuring that any potential issues are monitored and reported to the correct people to ensure customers’ orders are fulfilled without delay
- Sending customer order information to production in order to production with good attention to detail to ensure customer orders are correct and keep up-to-date
- Organising jobs and ensuring all necessary information is included to ensure efficiency
- Answering customer queries via telephone and email and knowing how to prioritise tasks
- Any other general admin duties as and when required
