This Quality Team Operative position is a key role within the Quality Department, reporting to the Quality Manager.
Purpose of the role
To assist the Company in operating an efficient and effective quality service in accordance with Company and customer standards.
Key responsibilities
- Inspect castings before they are used in the Microwave Assembly department.
- Inspect microwave assemblies at various stages of manufacture, including final inspection.
- Inspect goods received from suppliers.
- Assist Production with quality and inspection-related tasks where required.
- Calibrate measuring equipment and maintain the calibration database.
- Arrange external testing of calibration equipment.
- Undertake other duties as and when required.
