Administrator – Engineering Dept.

This role is based in the North Yorkshire market town of Kirkbymoorside.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the creation, amendment, control and archiving of engineering documentation, including Process Instructions, Data and Drawings for Part/Stock Editions, Bills of Materials, and Process versions within the “Enterprise Resource Planning” system (ERP)
  • Review repeat orders and check Outstanding Engineering Change Requests (ECRs)
  • Record and track repeat orders and assist in organising, prioritising, and actioning related work
  • Vetting of previous production records to ensure full capture of authorised changes
  • To create rework process sheets.

General Skill Requirements and Responsibilities:

  • Computer-literate with a good command of Word, Excel
  • Knowledge of ERP, CAD and report writing would be an advantage but is not essential
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Planning and organisational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure to agreed timelines
  • Team player
  • Self-motivated.
